ROVANHe shrugged, others have always asked him that before, but he never really knew how to explain his answer. He always stumbled over his words when they asked him this. It was prettu hard to explain, but maybe he was just thinking about it too hard. He shrugged again, this time mostly to himself.
"Its like... I don't know. Being able to control something around you. It... makes life a little bit easier I suppose." His voice was deep and throaty, but clear. He flung his hand around to smack a biting bug on his back, they were always bad in the forests in the balmy air of summer.
He looked back up at her, his green eyes squinting. "Whats it feel like changing your species?" He grinned after asking this, a little chuckle escaping him.

Brooke eyes studied his and was trying to read him but since she didn't have that type of power it was kind of hard all she could feel is his senses. She gave him a smile when he answered and then just relaxed her mouth when he asked about her power. She looked down for a moment and then back up to him. "There are good times and bad times. But all and all I like it." She gave a small smile.
She watched as he whipped his hand onto his back getting a bug. She moved closer to him and leaned up,"Here." She said. She placed her hand softly on his back where he smacked the bug and whipped off of his skin. She smied and said,"The bugs here probably get annoying since you do not have a shirt on." She giggled and moved her hair to one side as she continued to whip his spot. When she inhailed the fresh air, his scent came along with it. She closed her eyes for a breif moment.
She quickly hoped them up again and leaned backed down away from him. She then scooted away just a little and just watched him. Her wolf senses were going crazy from just getting a wif of his scent. She ran her hands through her hair and said,"I better get going." She didn't want to do something foolish or do something that would make him uncomfortable.
(She is really interested in him. I'm not planning on closing this thread lol)

ROVANHe nodded his head when she answered. He was thinking about how it would be to change shape to whatever you wanted whenever you wanted. It thought it would be amazing, but he would never ever for anything give up his Earth-Mover powers, they were the only thing that had been with him through his whole life, since he was born.
He leaned his back to look at her, his eyes were smiling. He knew she was pretty, but he never grew close to females, not quickly. They had always thrown themselves so hard at him, he learned to ignore them, or.. grown to not really notice. He just was polite to them and smiled his sweet smile. He remembered Victorie, he sighed. His thoughts of her were interupted when Brooke spoke again.
"So soon?" he questioned.

Brooke:
I gave a nod and watched him sensing he was thinking about something. I felt it run through my body and said,"Is something bothering you?" I watched his actions and stood up on the branch. I didn't want to leave him but I could feel from myself that I was going to do something unexpecting. I kept walking further from him and was trying to get my mind on something else.
I could feel the branch start to break. "Crap" I whispered under my breath. Once part of the branch broke on my side I went to trasform into something but the ground hit me too quickly. "Ow." I said. I rolled around and slowly got up. I landed on my scar on my back. "Stupid tree." I said. I placed my hand on my back feeling my scar, feeling the ache.

ROVANRovan did not have the quickest reflexes, plus, he was stuck in thought, which impaired them even more. He turned his head when Brooke was half way to the ground, which really didn't give him much time to do anything about it. Though, anything that he would have done would have probably hurt the same, since she would be hitting the ground.
He pushed his spot of earth back into its place quickly, and went to her side. She was clutching at something on her back. He hoped she wouldn't be angry at him for not getting there soon enough, he knew that females tended to get that way, when they didn't get "rescued." But, she did look OK.
He said, reaching his rough hand out to help her back to her feet, "Are you alright? Sorry, I would have tried to help, but I didn't realize soon enough--" he was rambling again.

Brooke looked up at him and reached her hand out taking his. "Its alright, we both were not expecting the branch to break." She said in a painful tone. She rubbed her back and said,"My back really hurts." She slowly got up and took deep breaths trying to ignore the pain. She looked at him and could see it was geting dark from the backround. "You want to come to my place or we can meet tomorrow if you like." She said.
She heard the sounds and creatures who like to come at night. She looked around and said,"Actually do you think you can stay with me. Even though I'm use to it. I would really like the company."

ROVANHe really felt bad about letting her fall out of the tree, he knew that it probably showed on his pretty face. He tried not to let it worry him, since it looked like it really wasn't bothering her. He heard her question and it was one that he had gotten about a thousand times. He always shrugged it away, he never stayed at any other females "place." Except Victorie...
He saw the look on her face when she asked if he would come back with her. His eyebrows furrowed and he started to laugh, "Are you afraid of the animals in the night? When you could just as easily be one of them?!" He grinned a big, white-toothed grin.
He said, with laugher still in his words, "Ahh, sure. I just need to call Koho." He knew this would be totally and absolutly our of his confort zone, he wasn't sure why he was doing it in the first place. He turned and cupped his big hands around his mouth and yelled Koho's name into the growing darkness, he was sure she was still close by.

Brooke looked at him and said,"Well if you knew my life. You would understand." She let out a sigh and said,"Never mind you don't need too. Just don't worry about it." She rubbed her neck and looked at the moonlight seeing it was shinning towards the water. She walked over to it, turning her body so her back was facing the water. She looked over and pulled her shirt up so it just revealed her back seeing her scar checking to make sure the fall didn't do any damage.
She then looked at him and soon just sat down on a rock putting her head down. She then placed her hands on the rock and started to think about what happened in her life.

ROVANAs Koho came trotting back, blood of a kill on her brown, fuzzy muzzle, he turned back to face her, a bit of concern glazed over his eyes. He walked to stand next to her, but did not sit. He asked, "Wha-... I just said I would?"
He knew he should not be surprised at a sudden refusal, since he himself gave them all the time, but getting them was something totally different. Not that he had ever been refused. He had been refused of a life with parents, of his love Victorie.
He tilted his head to one side, "I mean, if you don't want me too I could just leave..." She really looked like she needed a moment to herself. He was turning to leave, gesturing to Koho to follow him.

Brooke listened to him and looked up at him. She quickly grabbed his hand and said,"please, don't leave." Her tone was sad. She slowly got up and walked around him to face him. "I'm sorry I said that. I do want you to come with me." She let out a sigh and said,"Long story short the reason why I am afraid of the creatures in the dark is because my parents died when it was during the night. All I remember is something sharp go across my back, making me have a scar, my parents telling me to run and hearing the screams and the fighting coming from my parents and who ever was fighting them. I just don't want them to come get me aswell. That is also the reason why I ran from you today and run from people."
She wiped her eyes and released her hand from his finally realizing she still had her hand around his from her stopping him. She took a step back and put her hand by her side.

ROVANHe listened carefully, becoming a bit overwhelmed when she neared the end of her story. It was so much at one time, he wanted to hold up his hands and shake his head and make her stop. It all sounded like it was blurring together in one big word. But, being so polite, he simply nodded and said slowly, "Okay. I'm sorry... I'll stay."
He ran his hand over his short, dark hair and asked her, to break the silence, after she let go of his hand, "Where to you sleep?"

She could sense from him that she should have stopped but she needed to explain why she was afriad of the night. She said,"Follow me." She then walked around bushes and trees coming up to a cave. She had a bed of leaves and a blanket. She had a small fire pit and it was a nice little cave to live in. She looked at him and said,"This is it." She walked into the cave and started a small fire so they were warm at night. She looked at him and said,"Thanks for staying with me."
She started thinking in her head maybe this was to fast and maybe she needed to started to listen to her instenks more. She never had anyone ever since her parents died and she was just afraid she was going to loose him. "Roven you are the person I met and acually had a conversation with. If this is too much just tell me okay." she said.

ROVANHe followed her into the small caves and sat across the fire from her, the heat warmed his face and made the light dance across his flesh. He cleared his throat, this was awkward...
He listened to her speak, keeping his emerald-hued eyes on her face, he tried to keep himself from looking around awkwardly, he bit his lip and swallowed, he was jittery, he got this way when he did something that he doesn't normally do, which was something that didn't happened very often. He only nodded to Brooke when she thanked him for being there. He watched Koho settled at the mouth of the cave, she always like to sleep outside when the weather was warm, but didn't like to be too far from Rovan.
When she spoke again, his gaze was fixed on her mouth moving. He cleared his throat again. He guessed since he had always had people all around him that he didn't understand her ways right now. He smiled nontheless, he was good at covering up what was really going on inside his head. He was happy he had no met a psychic today in the Forests of the First Island. He said quickly, realizing he hadn't answered, "Um, thats good..."
Damn it.

Brooke gave him a small smile and then put her hands to the fire warming up her human body. She looked down at the fire and didn't say a word for a while. Evenually she looked back up at him and said,"Hungry? I have some left over deer if you want any." She stood up and went outside. She went around the cave and pulled some meat then walked back in and placed it right next to him. She then walked back out and brought in a leaf for a plate. There wasn't any silverware or dishes since it was a forest.
She placed the leaf down and put the meat on top of it. "There." She said. She then walked back to her spot and rubbed her arms. "So what was your past like? You know love, family, anything." She said. She placed her chin on her knees and put her hands back on the fire. She looked over at Koho and smiled seeing she was laying outside the mouth of the cave. She watched her for a minute and then back to him.

ROVANHe took the meat from Brooke, but he did not eat it. He wasn't hungry, he had eaten before he had arrived onto Baramalica Island, he never really ate more than he needed anyways. He set it down onto the stoney floor of the cave and forgot about it the second that it left his hands. He considered his sitation, he hadn't spent actual time with a female since Victorie had died, and this felt like he was being disloyal to her memory. He knew she wouldn't think the same, but he couldn't help what his mind thought up, however strange or wrong it was.
Brooke was speaking now. "So what was your past like? You know love, family, anything." Wow, he wondered if she really was a psychic and she just wasn't telling him, with the thought of that, he quickly stopped thinking it and just thinking about his parents and his older brother.
Rovan replied, "I was born on Ayu Island, and I had one older brother, but he died when I was six." He said it all so calmly, he had been used to the idea of his brother being gone, it had been so long since it had happened. He started wondering where his parents were right now. Maybe they were dead, maybe they were no longer together, really, Rovan couldn't care less. They had left him in the forest in Jhova, but its okay, because thats when he found Koho.
