The Layout
The Isle of Maraphalia should actually be called The Isles of Maraphalia. They are actually four islands, separated by chunks of ocean. They layed in a cresent shape and they get smaller as you go from the top of the cresent to the bottom.
The First Island
Baramalica Island
pronounced: Bear-uh-muh-lis-uh
This is the biggest island, it is at the top of the cresent shape. The north end has a large mountain called Qken Mountain. After the mountain it is mostly forest. This forest holds creatures such as Leopards, Tigers, Panthers, Bears, Snakes, Wolves, Foxes, Rabbits, Eagles, Finches, Crows, and Deer. They also hold more magical creatures like Unicorns and the forests, and Dragons and Harpies in the mountains. Despite its size it is not the most heavily populated island, but it does have a considerable amount of people living on it. The beaches aren't really there. Its an extremely small stripe of sand, the Maraphalians cannot usually be found there.
The Second Island

pronouced: Ju-ho-vah
This island is alot smaller that The First Island, though its geography does not differ much. It is mostly hills and small cliffs over-looking valleys. Lots of forest, much places to hide. There is not a very big source of water, only a small pond on the West Side. It is normally a place where you cannot get some privacy, since it is the only water source. Nhova is home to animals like Cougars, Wolverines, Wolves, Bears, Deer, Lizards, Snakes, Eagles, Hawks, and Falcons. Magical animals also inhabit the Second Island, such as Pegususes and Alicorns, flying among the clouds, and Snufflers in the forests. This is also where people can find the most-sought-after Messenger Falcons, which can carry letters over long distances to your allies. This Island is hit most hard by storms, no one is sure why.
The Third Island
Jjesseh Island
pronounced: Jess-eh
This is the most populated island. It is a pretty place, with many flowers in the spring. It is a lower landed island, makes is easier for those to travel. There is a lake in the middle, called Worloq Lake. This island is the habitat to animals like Tigers, Panthers, Owls, Eagles, Cardinals, Robins, Blue Jays, Hummingbirds, Snakes, Ghekos, Chameleons, Frogs, Boars, and Foxes. Also, smaller dragons dwell so deep in the forest they are very elusive, Unicorns that have mane and tails of fantastic colors, and the Makiska. Beware the Makiska. There is a meeting place near the South Side of the Island. It where people come to find one another, whether on Jjesseh Island or coming from a different one. It is the central island of Maraphalia.
The Fourth Island
Ayu Island
pronounced: Aye-you
This island is a lot of barren land. It has forests on the edges right along the soft-sanded beaches. The middle is mostly cleared of trees and shrubbery. Is the most least populated, so this is where you can find where the animals of the Isle thrive the best. Such as Cheetahs, Leopards, Gezelles, Deer, Horses, Snakes, Lizards, Eagles, Squirrels, Weasels, and Rabbits. Magical creatures that reside here are smaller than normal. There are small, burrowing animals called Theku. And Gormats. The weather here is usually warmer, but not by much. There are also Griffins and Pheonixes. On the South Side there is a fruit orchered that grows all on its own. Maraphalians usually come here to find food when it is scarce, so during the winter: be here early.
About Maraphalians
They are beautiful people. All have strikingly good looks. Seemed with the dying of the human race bad genes went with them. They range in personality just as widely as humans. They believe in multiple Gods such as the Romans or the Greeks. They have beautiful names. For males an example would be Rovan or Blaise. Females, would be Narcissa or CoraLeer. (Please do not use, thank you.) They get together usually for life like humans, but there is no such thing as marrige. They cheat on their "mates", actually quite often. There is no government, they haven't really gotten that far yet. Most raise their children carefully, but there are times when children are neglected or abused, just like humans. They usually get along well together, but when they fight their powers make the fights alot worse then they need to be. Because of their powers, most Maraphalians have the personality of being a bit rash, but it does not show in all of them. They age slower than humans, staying younger and healthier longer than mere humans.
